Untitled_Final was the first of its kind graduation art show for the designers coming out of the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design. I led the planning, creation, and implementation of the senior show.
After feeling underwhelmed by previous senior art shows, my goal was to create an event that matched the hard work we had been putting into the entirety of our two-year program. I raised over $10,000 in donations, researched event locations, and led a small team of designers to create the artwork for our show. We based our show theme around the poor file naming habits that designers tend to make. We created a social media campaign, a website that showcased designer profiles and a striking poster that went up around the city.
Client: GSU GRD Class of 2016

Part of this show was creating walls for the gallery. We had trouble finding a location that would allow for 20 students to showcase their work. We needed a lot of gallery space, which was in short supply in Atlanta. We decided on an event space that had a lot of floor area but didn’t have the right amount of wall space. Our solution was to build movable gallery walls that the gallery would then purchase at the end of our show. I worked with the event space owners and some local contractors (aka some very handy dads) to set up a solution that benefited the both of us. Some classmates came together to build, drywall and paint 5 12 ft walls.
